The sports newsmagazineLes Coulisses de l'Exploit (Pathways to Adventure) was a co-production between ORTF and the Société Nouvelle Pathé Cinéma.

Les Coulisses de l’Exploit offers a collection of films portraying people from the wide-ranging world of sport: champions of professional sports, stunt performers, trainers and more. These films were produced as 10-minute biographical sketches of various personalities, with commentary provided by Raymond Marcillac, Robert Chapatte, Roger Couderc, Léon Zitrone and other famous voices.

This collection is a treasury of sport-related images from the 1960s, featuring the biggest names of the period.

Gaumont Pathé Archives now controls the marketing rights for excerpts from this series in addition to the outtakes and international and foreign editions of the majority of the items.
