1919-1932: the educational newsmagazine
90 hours - Pathé Collection

The Pathé Revue collection (1919-1930) brings together short documentary films with a cultural and educational perspective. Subjects include industry, traditional crafts, fashion, animals, French regions and voyages abroad that feature "the most magnificent landscapes and marvellous colours". In fact, some items are in colour thanks to the Pathécolor process, a technique that consisted of colouring each shot individually by hand

A version with sound followed from 1930 to 1932, the Pathé Revue Sonore, then a collection of different items that were screened in 17.5 mm, the Pathé Revue Rural. Originals are all in 35 mm .
