Après avoir vaincu les Pyrénées, traversé la BRETAGNE, salué PARIS au passage, il restait encore aux concurrents du Troisième Tour de FRANCE automobile, à franchir victorieusement les cols alpestres sur les pentes desquels les cyclistes avaient tant peiné au mois de Juillet dernier. Et comme si 5 800 kilomètres de parcours en trois étapes, de NICE à NICE, ne suffisaient pas, une épreuve de vitesse de cent kilomètres attendait à l'arrivée les vainqueurs de la plaine et de la montagne. Disputée sur la promenade des Anglais, cette dernière manche devait servir à départager PERON, leader depuis la première étape, et BEHRA, numéro un, entre qui la victoire hésitait encore. Réalisant l'excellente moyenne de cent quatre kilomètres à l'heure, sur un circuit restreint et difficile, BEHRA s'affirmait le conducteur le plus rapide du lot, cependant que PERON se classait premier de ce troisième Tour de FRANCE automobile. BEHRA et BARRAQUET remportaient pour leur part le Trophée DUBONNET. Sport.
