Tous les groupes politiques ont invité depuis longtemps les Français Musulmans à s'inscrire sur ces listes, mais l'administration doit accomplir un travail considérable pour relever notamment l'identité des femmes. D'après les premiers chiffres, 80% de la population d'ALGER est déjà inscrite. Par ailleurs les nouvelles reçues des Djebles laissent à penser que le pays prendra part au référendum dans une très large proportion.
